JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
|
We are looking for to add staff to a newly built Data Center supporting both commercial and federal clients in SW Virginia. The Data Center Support Technician assists the Network Operations Center Supervisors in the monitoring and remediation of events of Mineral Gap Data Center facilities. Data Center Support Technician will support the Network Operations Center Service Desk providing Tier I and Tier II support in a 24x7x365 environment. The firm is looking for qualified technical candidates to perform Service Desk support and System Administration duties in a classified environment. Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding of ticketing systems, and the process/steps required to move a trouble ticket through the system.
Ideal candidates will come from compliance driven organization (focused on secure IT support), with CLOUD BASED IT support exp (O365 experience is ideal)

JOB SKILLS:
|
-Utilize Ticketing System to submit, modify, resolve, and close requests for assistance.
-Identify, track, account for, and properly maintain usage records and properly store all classified materials.
-Qualified candidates must have strong customer service, communications and IT Skills.
- Knowlege of Ticketing Systems is required.
-Must be able to work rotating shifts.
-Familiarity with network management tools and Cisco Routers and Switches is preferred.
-Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN, network hardware issues and replacement is preferred.
